The Elementary Report Card has Four (4) Subject Areas:
- Language Arts
- Social Studies
Within each Subject Area are Performance Skills that students must possess to be competent in each of the subject areas.
The Developmental Indicators are symbols designed to report your child’s development in each of the Performance Skills. Those symbols and their definitions are:
||The child is Consistently Applying the performance skill
||The child is Developing in the area, but is not consistently applying the performance skill
||The child is Beginning to develop in this area
||No Evidence of development has been observed
||This area is Not Applicable usually due to the limited time spent on this area by the class during the grading period
In grades 3, 4, and 5, a student's overall academic performance in each subject area is summarized by using the letters A, B, C, or D.
||The student has demonstrated that they apply all of the performance skills consistently and independently. They are able to analyze and apply what they have learned in new situations with elaboration. The student is also capable of evaluating their completion of the learning task.
